Chapter 2: Heart to Heart.
Cheeks flushed scarlet like the bright sun setting sky, Ai stood in silence for the next few seconds patiently waiting for Sora’s reply. Ai had her eyes squinted as she was afraid of his reply either good or bad she was not prepared for the answer. Expressionless faces of the students surrounding both of them started to converse with each other on what had happened just moment ago. Takeshi and Ai’s friend both stood in silence waiting for Sora to speak his mind eager as they were to find out what had crossed Sora’s mind. Sora was situated in a tight position as he looked at the students surrounding all of his exits though he was not a coward to not give a reply. Turning his attention towards Ai who was still shut off from the rest of the group as she waited as patiently as possible, Sora replied.
“Ai….I want you to listen carefully to me. Now I will only say this once and once only.”
Ai opened her eyes as she looked into Sora’s though not noticing his face was suddenly becoming flushed as he took a quick breath preparing his reply.
“Mmm….Ore wa itsumo anata ga sukideshita” Replying softly for only her ears to hear for the time being Sora looked into her blue eyes as they soon began to become fogged with tears, the tears of joy overflowed her as she covered her mouth and nose with the clasping of her hands. More and more tears ran down her face as she replied with a hoarse tone as she was overjoyed.
“I am so happy…*Sniff*…I would never have thought that you had the same feelings for me.” She began to rub away the remaining tears on her face as she looked back into his hazelnut eyes; she drew closer towards Sora closing even more distance. She was just two centimetres in front of him with her eyes still fixated on his. She leaned forwards with her eyes closed as she continued to draw closer to his face, Sora’s head leaned downwards slightly as he too closed his own eyes. A sacred vow had just been placed as Sora and Ai had kissed each other for the first time, their lips meeting both of them savoured their moment of love. The students around them began celebrating some cried, others began clapping as they had witnessed the confession of both Sora and Ai. The two had parted each other as they looked at each other for a brief moment and then smiling at each other as they had finally told each other’s feelings with just a simple confession and a kiss to seal it. Takeshi walked up to Sora as he placed his hand on his left shoulder as he gave his friend a nod signaling that he had done his job. Ai’s friend too followed suit as she walked up to Ai as she gave her a hug of congratulations,
“Good job Ai, I knew you could do it.”
Ai replied as she was still overjoyed.
Sora looked Ai for a brief moment as he was thinking what to do next, remembering what he had to do he turned back around grabbing his bag off the ground where he dropped it and ruffed through the books. Searching away through the bag he did not find what he was looking for, it was then he began searching his pockets. His hands first checked his left and then his right pants pockets, his hand withdrew as he pulled out a small device from his right pocket. He flipped the device forwards as ultraviolet blue overflowed the upper half of the device. He began clicking away through his phone to reach the contacts application. Once doing so he was fixated on Ai once again as he walked towards her, she looked back confused at the start of his search for his phone she stood in front of him waiting for him to give her the phone so she could type in her number. Sora’s right hand carrying the phone reached out towards Ai as she grasped the phone quickly typing her number and email, Sora waited for a few seconds before she gave the phone back.
“I will call you tonight.” Sora whispered before turning back to Takeshi as the both of them made their way to Sora’s house. AI's heart just jumped and screamed with joy as Sora had made his promise of a call later in the night, blushing once more as she was Ai waved back at Sora as he left, all of the students from the crowd made their own way. Mizuki waited for Ai to turn back to her as they both made their way back to their individual homes.
“Tadaima.” Sora said as he entered through the front doors of his house.
“Konnichiwa.” Takeshi said as he followed right behind him.
“Okaeri, Sora. Irasshai, Takeshi.” Sora’s mother replied as she just came out of the doorway of the kitchen to greet them. Sora slowly took off his runners as he slipped into his house slippers right next to the shoe rack near the door. Takeshi followed in suit as they both walked towards the stairway to the rooms upstairs, Sora’s mother turned back without saying another word as she was busy doing her own chores she had. But what Sora did not know is that she was on a phone call with the neighbours as they were all discussing about what had happened just after school, the confession had went viral as it was not just the students but the parents of the students now know of the two confessing with each other. Sora and Takeshi kept walking upwards and turning the corner they were in the hallway of the second level of the house. Walking again towards the right side they made their way towards Sora’s bedroom, their heavy footsteps echoed through the second level though they were both wearing house slippers.
Entering the room Sora clucked his bag onto his bed while Takeshi just placed his bag on the desk, slumping over on his bed Sora was contemplating about the confession that Ai had made to him. He was filled with joy as he had returned her with a reply. With the thought of Ai in his mind Sora just smiled as he did nothing for the next few minutes, Takeshi on the other hand, he had his books out already as he started doing his own work days before the due date. Takeshi was a very organized person as he did not want anything to be at the last minute, as he began scribbling down notes onto his lined book.
“Oi…Stop daydreaming over there and start on some work.” Takeshi said as his eyes were still fixated on the work he was doing.
Sora looked up at Takeshi from the bed as he nodded once, he was not going to waste any time daydreaming or playing around on his portable game device. Instead he wanted nothing more than to spend some time with Ai, he turned over to his side to grab his bag next to him as he ruffled through the books until he could grab as much as possible out from it. He then stacked the books neatly on the bed as he unzipped his pencil case pulling out a finely sharpened pencil with precision, he flipped through the textbooks to find the exact page and then following in suit he opened his workbook and began inscribing texts in haste peering back and forth from textbook to workbook. Something had struck a chord in his system as he was flying through the work. His soul set ablaze by a single thought of spending his precious time with Ai he was done in a matter of an hour. He then flicked his pencil to the wardrobe; the sound produced caused Takeshi to look at Sora from the corner of his eye in surprise.
“Finished already?” Takeshi asked as it was the first time that he saw him finish work at a fast pace.
“Yep, time to relax for a while.” Sora replied as he grabbed his portable game device from the self behind him as he started furiously clicking away on the buttons. Takeshi looked back at his work as he continued to finish his own work before speaking once again,
“Hmm…It seems that you are fired up by something to make you finish your work so quickly…Was it the thought of Ai?”
Sora continued to click away on the buttons disregarding the last statement made by Takeshi, but he was slightly embarrassed by the fact that he had guessed his thoughts.
*The sound of a car pulling into the driveway slowly, tires screeching as the vehicle came to a halt. The engine slowly died as the door of the car swung upon and closed quickly.*
“Tadaima.” A booming voice echoed through the entire house as the door swung upon revealing a man standing in the doorway with a suitcase in his right hand as his left clasped the door handle, he walked in slowly closing the door behind him. He then sat down on the ledge taking off his reflective leather shoes.
“Okaeri, Anata.” With her head poking out of the doorway once again greeting her husband who had just come home from work, she turned around once more as she was nearly finished with preparing dinner humming a tune as she went.
After taking his shoes off he made his way towards the living room near the kitchen, he walked towards the large couch as he slumped down exhausted as another long day of work had passed by so quickly. He then turned on the television as he began flicking through the channels finding what may be interesting on at the time of his arrival. Seeing nothing but mostly cartoons he finally flicked it to a news station as he left it on, he then rose from the seat as he made his way towards the exit of the living room whilst taking off his tie slowly.
“I am going to take a bath. Is Sora home yet? I want to talk to him about his future.” He said as he had exited the room making his way towards the end of the long hallway and straight to the bathroom.
“Yes he is back. He is upstairs in his room with Takeshi.” She replied back as she was just about finished, all she had to do is lay out the table for the family including Takeshi. She had to delay the dinner since her husband just came back and he had already gone into the bathroom, but it would not be long for him to come out refreshed. As she began pulling out the plates from the cupboard she yelled out,
“Alright everyone it is time to eat.”
*Boom, boom, boom, boom.*
The sound of footsteps heavily hitting the wooden floorboards of echoed throughout the household, like a herd of wildebeest three children came charging into the kitchen as they heard that dinner was ready. Sora’s three younger siblings could not wait for dinner as they helped their mother with the orientation of the utensils, quickly setting up the plates and the handheld utensils the sat down as they waited. Sora and Takeshi on the other hand were more mature as they walked down slowly as they did not bother charging into the kitchen just for food. By that time Sora’s father was already out of the bath as he made his way towards the kitchen dressed in his household attire not pajamas but just a pair of tracksuit pants and a plain white t-shirt. As all three shuffled into the kitchen Takeshi called out,
“Sora, I will be leaving now. My family is waiting for me to come home.”
“Do you want me to drop you off?” Sora asked him.
“No, it’s fine my sister is already here to pick me up.” Smiling as he said he began walking to the front door, but before that Sora’s mother offered him a large portion of the dish that they were having. He could not refuse as his family had close bonds with Sora’s family, placing on his shoes at the front door before exiting he waved back to Sora as he said,
“Good luck for tomorrow.”
“Thanks?” Confused as he replied back he watched as Takeshi got into his sisters car before they drove off into the distance. He walked back inside slowly as he was still contemplating about what Takeshi had meant by saying “Good luck".
“What could he mean?” Sora began thinking as he walked back towards the kitchen sitting down at his seat near the end of the table, the family gathering around eating dinner slowly. The two girls began talking with each other about what fashion is out in the month and who likes who at school. His younger brother sat at the end talking with his mother about school and the latest on the toys and gadgets, on occasion all four of them conversed with each other. His father just sat in his seat next to Sora’s munching slowly on his like an old man or even more like a dairy cow. But his father was not at all that old as he was still looking to be in his prime youth still, both his parents were aging well and he also thought that the genetic traits would be past down. At times his father would be discussing his business work and school business and sometimes they are mixed as some of his father’s colleagues had children attending the same school he was.
“Sora, how are you doing in school?” His father asked as he began slowly picking at his food deciding what to eat first. Finding what he had wanted he placed it in his gapped mouth as he slowly munched away waiting for an answer.
“School was alright, grades are still at the top of its peak. The team is planning on the upcoming match. But it was an average day.” He shrugged back as he did not mention anything else that happened that day at school; his mother overhears the conversation between the two as she butted into the conversation as though she was a part of it already.
“Are you sure nothing else happened at school?” His mother asked as she had a suspicious grin imprinted on her face as though she knew something that happened to her son. He replied back denying that nothing else had happened though he was all flustered about it he ate very quickly soon after as he wanted to finish his meal before anyone else could ask any more questions that may jeopardize his secret. He looked away from his mother and father, his eyes fixated on the ceiling for the time being as he began to ignore them as he chewed on spoonfuls of food.
“Oh…A little birdie told me that you were confessed to by none other than, Kanata Ai.” Her mother replied with her eyes closed as she smiled happily eating away at her dinner, the sound of spoons synchronically fell onto the table echoed throughout the house as the rest of the family stared at him. Sora began choking on his food as he looked back at her as she had revealed what had happened, but she was still missing the finishing touch. His siblings looked at him as they began to ponder in their thoughts of how it would have felt like when bring confessed to, he grabbed his cup of water from the table as he sculled half of the three-quarters of water within the cup, once he had swallowed the small portion of water he coughed twice before taking another sip of water.
“And I almost forgot….He said that he liked her as well.” Smiling once again with her plot to reveal his secret she had finished with her dinner as she shifted from her chair and towards the sink to begin washing up the plates and other cooking utensils, Sora blurted out the water that was in his mouth towards the side as he did not want to contaminate the dishes laid out in front of his family members who were still eating. His father looked at Sora as he sarcastically smiled at him placing his left hand on his shoulder with a pointed thumb towards the ceiling with his right hand as congratulation,
“As expected for my son, I think I have to call Ai’s dad to see how things are going on his end.” As he made his way out of his chair he wandered towards the television as he pulled out his phone from his jacket pocket and dialed the number of his colleague. Sora was staring in disbelief as he got up from his chair as he tried to grab the phone but it was too late the call had already gone through and it was placed on loud speaker,
“Yo, Jinta. You heard any news from your daughter yet about school? I just found out something cheesy about my son. I heard that both my son and your daughter confessed to each other.” He said through the phone as he had a smug grin permanently painted on his face, Sora stood in disbelief that his father would do such a thing as sharing information about private matters at home, but then again it was one of his friends from work that happens to be a closer friend during his days when he was Sora’s age. It was a few seconds later that there was a reply from the phone,
“Oh I know it has been the talk of the neighbourhood, our children confessing to each other, I think this happened a long time ago when they were in kindergarten.”
“I think it did. Where are you now? We have to celebrate why don’t you come on over and bring the family as well. We have much to discuss.” He laughed hysterically as he watched his son’s eyes of disbelief slumping over on the couch as he did not want to go in his father’s way.
“I am right outside your door,” A voice boomed out from the phone as his father then ran towards the door as he grabbed the handle and pulled it back revealing behind it were his friend and his family of just his wife and daughter Ai. Sora ran towards the door following in pursuit as he first saw him turn the handle he tried stopping him by stretching his hands out but he was too late. Sora skidded along the floorboards as soon as he saw Ai next to her mother slightly flushed as she did not want to see him so soon after the incident, Sora stopped in his tracks before he could crash into anyone or anything. Ai looked up as she saw him standing just near his father; they exchanged looks in the same wavelength. Sora’s head turned to the side as Ai did the same, both of them were still awkward with each other as they both had flushed cheeks. They both took another glance at each other, another turn of the head the more they were awkward with each other even though there was some distance between the two.
“Come on in, it is cold at night.” His father welcomed the guests as they took off their jackets and hung them on the coat hanger by the doorway opposite of the shoe rack. Her family walked in casually as they welcomed themselves in after Sora’s father had said so, Sora left the area as he made his way towards the kitchen where the rest of his family were waiting. Sora was first to go in room as his two sisters looked at him with a sinister gaze, he sighed as he walked back to his seat. His brother was just about finished with his meal before his father and Ai’s family came in, his mother turned around as she greeted the guests from the kitchen sink.
“I will get you all some rice and drinks.” She casually walked towards the rice cooker over by the stove as she scooped three bowls full of rice and brought it towards the table in haste as she did not want her guest of honor to starve, Ai’s family did not have time to respond to it as they were about to apologize for the intrusion. But it was actually Sora’s mother who had talked to Ai’s mother that afternoon on the phone inviting them to come for dinner. His father led Ai’s father to a seat where they were about to discuss some business as well as the love between Sora and Ai, both mother sat down as well as his siblings were already finished with their dinner placing the empty plates and bowls in the sink. Ai’s father guided his daughter to the seat closest to Sora as he was still eating, he had a hard time eating as Ai was sitting next to him. Chewing slowly with each mouthful and his eyelids closed shut he could not help but take a few peeks at Ai as she was sitting. Both families were eating and talking with each other but it was only Ai and Sora who were quiet with each other. Ai took a small sample of her food as she looked intently at Sora as he ate, he looked at the wrong time once again as he caught her staring at him. She turned her gaze to the opposite direction, Sora only kept eating though with another slight blush across his cheeks. Ai turned her gaze once more towards Sora as he was just about finished with his dinner, she got up as she did not finish hers first, but she attempted to grab the empty plates and bowls so she could bring them to the sink. Sora was just about stack up the empty plates and bowls so he would take them to the sink, their hands met. They looked at each other again, again both were stuck in an awkward situation.
“I…I will take them for you.” Ai offered quietly as she did not want anyone else to hear but him. She kept shifting her gaze from Sora and then somewhere else around the house. She was nervous, Sora did not blame her for doing so since both were awkward around each other after an eventful day.
“No, I have to do it myself. I can't let my guest do the work for me.” Sora replied quietly as he did not want to bother her whilst she was staying for dinner.
“Hmmm…She has a potential to become your wife, eh Sora?” Ai’s father erupted with laughter as he joked around with the parents as they watched them with awe. Both parents were waiting for something more to happen as both Ai and Sora turned away from each other, Sora carrying his tray full of plates and bowls of his own dinner whilst Ai was standing up her hands against her mouth as she was flushed with embarrassment. Sora walked towards the sink as he placed it down with the rest of his dishes, he turned around once more making his way towards the exit of the kitchen.
“Thanks for the meal. Ai I will be waiting in my room, come up when you are finished.” He spoke as he walked through the doorway making his way upstairs to his room, his sisters were watching their nightly cartoon channels before Sora had left. But now without him around they went to Ai as she sat finishing the rest of the dinner, they started to ponder her thoughts asking,
“Hey, Nee-san are you going to be our Nee-san soon?”
“Is our brother cool?”
“What do you like about Ni-san?”
Ai sat there as they kept on asking she tried answering them but more and more questions came flying at her without ceasing, she did not know what to do until their mother had stopped them telling them off for disturbing her when she was still eating, Ai replied back to their mother telling her that it was alright as she had already finished her dinner. Ai shifted out of her chair as she made her way towards the sink, she was just about to clean up the dishes in the sink already but Sora’s mother had stopped her before she could actually clean anything with the detergent.
“You are a guest in this house, you don’t have to clean anything. Now go on, Sora is waiting.”
Nodding back as a reply she made her way towards the second level of the household and straight to Sora’s room, she crept up the stairs carefully as running would have echoed throughout the household and alerting Sora as he waited. Both of their parents and Sora’s two sisters peeked out from the doorway of the kitchen as they snickered silently at each other about the two. She carefully tiptoed up the stairs as she was at the hallway of the second level, she looked around for the door that led to Sora’s room which was on the right side of the hallway. Sora was waiting for her outside the room as he slouched down against the door with his coat on as he was prepared to go outside, she did not notice his presence as she kept looking around until her pupils made contact with his body slouching on the door outside his room. With a slight jump she sighed as she caught her breath back from the sudden surprise, Sora got up from the floor as he dusted off any dust on his pants making his way towards Ai who was clutching her chest.
“Sora, don’t scare me like that..” Sighing as she said so she looked at Sora dusting himself as he got up, her eyes caught a glimpse of his face, he was at least a head taller than she was. As he continued to dust his lower attire as much possible he looked back at her as she was still staring up at him, their pupils met again. There was no awkwardness between the two at this moment in time, it was only when they were around others such as their parents and friends that both of them get silent around each other. Smiling as they stared into each other’s eyes Sora asked,
“Do you have time? I want to have a talk with you at the park.”
“Yes, I have time.” She replied, she turned around and went towards the staircase first. She made her way downwards to the base of the stairs, he followed in suit after her quietly as they both knew what would happen if they had disturbed their parents while they talked with each other. She started tiptoeing towards the front door as Sora sneaked from the edge of the wall to the next trying to prevent any noise, she got to the shoe rack first as she began to put on her shoes. Sora was already there waiting as he grabbed her coat for her whilst she was busy putting on her shoes, as soon as she was done she grasped the handle of the door. She pulled the door slowly as a slight gust had erupted through howling in though it did not make as much noise when it passed through they both turned their heads checking whether their parents would notice. Sweat lines ran down from both foreheads as they were alert for the expected parents and family members to just pop their heads out of the kitchen door to peer at the two as they were about to leave, they patiently waited for the expected for a few seconds. The winds slowly brewed in chilling the front corridor of the first level of the household, Sora know only one thing, which was that to get out of the house as soon as possible to prevent the entire house to become frozen with the chilling breeze. Sora signaled Ai to go first ahead of him with just a simple flick of his head towards the doorway; she nodded as a reply as she knew exactly what he was thinking. She stepped out of the doorways first with her boots stamping on the concreted ground, Sora waited for her to just about three metres in front of him as he turned his head back to the hallway once again slowly closing the door as quietly as possible to prevent any more noise that had been produced just before. The front doorway was now shut tight, a few heads popped out from the kitchen doorway as they were watching the entire time of when they first heard of the winds slowly brewing in. With delight they chuckled at each other joking on about the two love birds. Ai was standing at the front with her gloved hands clasped together positioned at the front of her coat, Sora walked past her as she stood waiting, he wanted to get the gate for her in courtesy of being a gentleman. The gate slowly pushed open forwards as Sora’s hands clasped onto the cold handlebars of the white metallic gate, she walked forwards first as he followed in suit slowly behind her. The two started walking side by side with each other, but both hands were not connected as his were in his jacket pockets and hers were still placed in front of her as she had them from before she left.
Treading through the cold night both of them took their time walking towards the nearby park where he would hang out, he spoke trying to get a conversation going between the two.
“So, it seems that our parents are enjoying themselves making fun of us.” He looked at her waiting for a response, she sighed.
“Stupid father, always doing these things to me ever since he found out from mother, I swear he is always like this.” Smiling at the end as she was happy that her parents were very supportive of her and Sora becoming together, soon after she replied she began rambling on how she came home to her parents teasing her about the confession.
::At Ai’s household::
She walked into the household hearing the uproar of his parents discussing something about her and a certain individual whom she knew, she just ignored the noise as she walked into the living room placing her bag on the couch, and she looked around finding her mother on a chair drinking her tea as he watched her television drama. Ai looked around for her father as she knew his presence was near after hearing the talk between her parents, the only thing she could hear a few seconds after was the sound of feet trampling on the wooden floorboards of the household as the vibrations seemingly shook the house. Her father ran into the room as he leapt towards Ai arms out wide attempting to hug his only daughter, she turned around with haste as she shifted her right leg outwards towards her father as he was still in flight coming towards her. Her timing was just right as the next thing her father knew was that his head had flown upwards, the foot of her right leg had come up to his chin as he fell backwards with a thud onto the hard floorboard. He started rolling the floor as he had both his chin and his buttocks in pain after getting hit as well as the aftermath of the collision, she sighed at yet another attempt he had made. He then got up in haste still rubbing his buttocks smiling as he knew something about school,
“A little birdie told me that you have confessed to your childhood friend Sora,” He laughed at her as he had his arms on his hips, she turned her head to the side facing away from her mother as she kept drinking her tea. He then peered at her daughter as he was measuring her if she was capable of being with Sora, he spoke once more jokingly saying
“As expected of my daughter, you have developed into such a beautiful girl. You will bear fine children with those well developed breasts,” His sinister expression had freaked her daughter as she was flustered the harassment made by her own father.
“YOU PERVERTED FATHER!”
A direct hit on his stomach he was on the ground once again as her left knee had collided with his stomach as the punishment of having harassing her daughter, he replied once again with a stuttering voice as he was clutching his stomach.
“By the way I saw those panties when you had kicked me on the chin before,”
“HENTAI!! ECCHI!!” She yelled out once again at him as she flung fists and kicks at him, he got what he had deserved as he was screaming out for his wife to help him out. Her mother just kept watching the television as she did not complain about the noise that her family was making, she reached for the remote control on the table in front of her turning the volume of her show so she could listen to what the actors were saying instead of complaining. He looked at her as tears of sadness came from his eyes as he was plummeted by his daughter.
“And that is what happened when I got home,” Ai said as she pointed upwards with her right index finger her head cocked towards her right side, Sora looked at her in surprise at her fathers’ actions. The expression on his face was priceless as he had somewhat known that her father would act this way, ever since they knew each other even though at the time they were still toddlers.
It was moments later that they had already reached the front of the park gates, she went in first making her way towards the two vacant swings near the far end of the small park. He followed as he sat down first, she folded her skirt just before she sat down on the plastic material of the swing next to him as they began talking with each other.
“So, Ai when did you first had feelings for me?” He asked, already jumping to their love between one another, he was but curious on when she had first laid her eyes on him.
“Remember the time when we were still in pre-school? It was when some of the boys were bullying me at the sandpit and you came up to defend me, it was then that I first had my eyes on you. But then when we moved to different elementary schools we kind of lost our way and my love for you was still strong, I tried contacting you but you always seemed busy. Once I came to Karakura High during our first year I was surprised that you were the representative of the school having aced all of your exams in elementary school and also becoming the Captain of the basketball team in that same year. I was happy to see you, though I did not know what to say to you. I had thought you had forgotten about me during those years being separated and that was when my heart started wavering and things started getting awkward between us during those couple of months, until you spoke to me. I was relieved when you remembered me, it was then that my love had become resolved. But when did you first laid eyes upon me?”
Sora looked at her in compassion as he was just about to say the exact same thing if she was to ask the question about their first meeting, he could only smile as he replied back swaying back and forth slowly on the swing.
“Ai, I would say the exact same thing. When we were in the playgrounds of our pre-school I had heard a girl crying for help as a couple of kids the same age as us back then started picking on you about how you dress and your style of hair, I could not just stand there and ignore it. I had to do something, but it was not only after being separated that I had fallen in love with you. Remember the confession I made to you before we parted ways? During our time apart I studied hard, trained hard. But it was then that I began forgetting about you, I could have contacted you but I was busy being cooped up in my room as well as going out and training. But until I saw you walking into Karakura High for the assembly I assumed you were someone else that is why I did not say anything, soon afterwards during the classroom role call I heard your name once and that had lifted my doubt of you being someone else.”
Ai looked at Sora as he replied back to her with the look of her being in love with her childhood friend as she knew deep within her heart that he loved her the same way she did, swinging back and forth Sora looked back into her eyes as they both swung in perfect symmetry. He leaned to his side drawing closer to her as she stopped swinging she too leaned outwards, she closed her eyes slowly as he made his way closer to her. His face drawing near to hers he was attempting to kiss her once more, but what he did not know was that he had leaned too far across that if he was to shift more weight over to his right side he would fall over. He kept edging to the side as it was only a few milliseconds later that he had fallen over, with a thud he landed face forwards into the ground. But the impact was miniscule he did not receive any injuries, Ai sat there as she waited for him to kiss her but only then that she heard him fall to the ground was then that she looked around for him as he fell over. She looked at him on the ground as she began to laugh and then sigh in happiness, he looked back at her as she was making fun of his unfortunate fall he lifted himself up and brushed off the dust being accumulated on his clothing when he fell. Ai stood up from the swing as she leant forwards, he was still brushing off the dust when he muttered,
“Don’t laugh at…Mmm…” He was caught off guard, she had already leant too far that her lips had met his. He closed his eyelids slowly as their lips collided with each other, he placed his arms around her body pulling her closer towards him. A few seconds had passed by as they parted lips, but to the both of them it felt like an eternity. After being kissed she threw herself onto him as they were standing, he held her tightly preventing her from going away. Her head gently rested on his chest her arms being held between their bodies, his arms were wrapped around her as his face was on top of her head as he smelled the sweet fragrance of her hair. The scent of the shampoo entranced his mind pulling his mind into unconsciousness as his body acted on its own as his arms slipped down from clutching her body making his way downwards as he attempted to do a perverted act upon her. As soon as his palms passed her hips she looked up at him with her expression being a little scared and yet annoyed at him, she pulled her arms from his chest grabbing his palms before he could actually reach his desire. She knew that he would such a thing as they were alone but she will not let him get his way with his desires to grope her, he would have to earn it before he was allowed to do even go down that far. He felt her warm hands grabbing his just before he could reach it, she kept on clutching his hands with a grip that clenched even tighter as he tried to fight off her hands as he was so close, but yet so far. He looked at her as she kept on holding his hands with a tight grip, he winced slightly as he felt the crushing force of her hands around his. He looked at her as he spoke with a confused and yet perverted expression,
“No, you have to earn it first.” She giggled as she kept clutching his hands before she let go, he sighed at his failed attempt but he did not bother trying again due to the risks it could have brought but he was happy. He kept his arms around her body after that as they were still clutching each other with love and warmth for a few moments longer. He looked up into the night sky as there was not a single cloud in the sky, the full moon amongst the dazzling abundant stars that were miles away from the planet they were standing on. She looked up at him peering at the sea of stars in the darkness of the night sky, the reflection of the moons illuminant was painted across his brown eyes. Smiling at his sheer figure staring upwards she knew that he was her only one, she placed her head on his chest once more sighing in sheer bliss. His attention was shifted from the sky to her as she placed her head on his chest once more; he shifted his right arm from her body towards his face as he looked at his watch at the time.
“Damn, look how late it is. I think it is time to head back home or else I would have to do some explaining to do…Especially to your father in particular..”
“I think so too…” She looked up at him and then the watch as he held it near him, he let his grip on her loosen as she pulled away from him. His hands were on his side as he made his way towards the gate of the park, with her following right beside him her hands were clutched together. The both began conversing,
“Ai, are you free tomorrow?”
“Yes, why do you ask?”
“Well I was planning to ask you out on a date tomorrow, if that is fine with you?”
“What do you mean if it is fine with me? Are we not dating already?” Ai asked in confusion.
“Oh…of course we are.”
“Where do you plan on going?”
“Well we can go around Karakura’s city district and catch a movie.”
“Mhm, sounds like a date.” She giggled as they both made their way towards home, a few minutes have gone by and they just cut around the corner of the street. Looking in front of them they saw both her parents as well as his in front of the house waiting for them to return, she moved to her side slightly to avoid any more harassment from her father about the both of them being so close together. He understood her intentions as he just kept looking at his parents,
“So how was the date?” Ai’s father asked as he had a sinister expression on his face, there was silence between Sora and Ai as they both did not want to reply both embarrassed at the situation.
“It was good of course.” Sora’s father replied back in his sons place though he was laughing at the situation. The parents kept on joking around until Ai’s parents had to go home, a short goodbye by both families and Ai’s family drove off into the distance as Sora watched the car going past the corner before he went back inside. Noticing his parents going back towards the living room they both sat down to watch their television drama, he just kept walking down the hallway and towards the bathroom where he would take a short soaking. Turning on the taps for the water to flow through he waited for a couple of minutes until the bath was filled with water to a level on which would not overflow even if he entered the bath tub. He slipped into the warm bath tub as it fogged up the mirror near the sink after taking off his clothing. Relaxing in the bath he kept on thinking about what a day it may turn out on his date. He entered his subconscious mind as he thought of the various events that may occur on the date, the every thought just got more and more perverted as he began to think through. It was just as he thought of sleeping with her in his dream he suddenly jumped up from the bath hearing his mobile phone signaling a caller, splashing the warm water from the bath tub as he jumped up to grab the phone from the table top of the sink just in his reach. Though he had thought briefly that if he had to grab the phone from the bath tub he assumed that he would slip right back into the water and thus losing his grip of the device, the phone would be perished into the abyss of the water.
He flipped the phone quickly with his hands still being a little wet, the florescent blue light reflected from his hazelnut pupils as he peered at the number on the screen. It was Ai. She was calling him though she did not know that he was taking a shower. He then looked at the screen for the time as he assumed that it could not be her calling since she had just left his household.
A shocking expression was painted on his face as his forehead wrinkled upwards his eyelids widened at the sudden time travel; with his thumb he pressed the green button that beckoned him to answer the call.
“Oshiro-kun....Um….Sorry for calling you this late. Did I bother you?” Ai asked as she stuttered not knowing that he just jumped out of the bath tub.
“No…I…Uh…Just came out of the bath tub, though my sense of time is a little messed up….” He replied.
On the other end she was embarrassed and yet she was a little turned on by the information that he was just in the bath tub. As she dropped her phone on the floor, static came through the receiving end of his phone.
“Uh…Ai, are you there? Did something happen?” He asked though the phone was moved away from his earlobe as the static had disrupted his sensitive ears.
“Uh…N-no…I just dropped the phone by accident…” In her mind she was picturing him just coming out of the bathroom as the steam would flow out of the doorway as he would walk out of the door covered in droplets of water. This thought drove her mind into turmoil and her sanity became intoxicated with lust of the thought of nothing but her body against his, shaking her head as her mind was back with reality she spoke once more.
“Um…I was just calling on where we would meet up as well the time.”
“Outside the train station at 9 o’clock sharp,” He replied back with precision to the point.
“See you tomorrow morning, goodnight.” She giggled as she hung up the line and dropped her phone right next to her as she was under the blankets, she slowly began to fall into her dreams.
Sora turned off his phone as he got dressed into his sleeping attire composing of just his shorts and a sleeveless top, before exiting the doorway of the bathroom the light flickered off with his left index finger flipped the switch on the side wall just right next to the door. Slowly treading to his sleeping chambers he looked through the hallway to his room, as he quietly walked towards him in order not to disturb the rest of the family who were happily snoring in their sleep. Creeping towards the side table near his mattress he grasped the alarm clock as he had to set the time to wake up in order to not be late for his date. After a flew windings of the gears within the device he lazily slumped into his bed as he still held his phone, as he drifted into his dreams he slowly dropped his hand with the phone as it slipped away hitting the floor, with a small thud he fell sound asleep.
